Rebekah is a talented baker, a fascinating historian, and just all around lovely woman. The house is turn key with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay. Each bedroom is its own sanctuary, the kitchen is a cook’s dream, and the bathtub is perfect for relaxing in. The grounds are lush and gorgeous, the porch is superb for enjoying sunsets, and the location is within waking distance of delicious eateries. Simply put: Rebekah’s Place is perfect for weekend getaway, or extended stays. I’ve seen what’s available in the area, and this home is the real deal. Thanks M-A family!

Our family of eight spent a night at the Thomas Abell home over Christmas. The host, Rebekah, was very kind and attentive to our needs. The house is clean, comfortable, well decorated, and has many thoughtful touches to make it a great place to stay.

My family of 7 stayed here for one night on our travels through the area. Rebekah was an outstanding host—quick communication and so kind and ready to help. We even left a bag behind and she contacted us before we left the area, averting a disaster! The house is filled with history and was fun for all of us to explore. The milk and breakfast items provided were especially helpful in the morning so we didn’t have to stop by the store.

Our experience in this Victorian “home away from home” could not have been more wonderful. Our expectations were high and even still they were exceeded. Rebekah was very quick to respond to any communication. We always felt she was available but never felt crowded. Very clean, beds comfortable, tastefully decorated to complement the architecture of the house and the kitchen had kitchen gadgets you would not expect in a rented space. Check-in was a breeze. The refrigerator was stocked with milk, orange juice, eggs, with cereals, spices and other staples in the cupboard. We were “home for the holidays” and could not have felt more at home in any way. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. As well as making wonderful memories, we left feeling as though we had made new friends in our hometown.

Our family stayed at the Thomas Abell home for a short weekend during Thanksgiving and it was the perfect location! The host, Rebekah, was so helpful and even greeted us upon our arrival. She walked us inside and gave us a quick rundown of stuff, where to find things and to contact her if we needed any help or had questions. She was so kind to my family and we greatly appreciated this during our stay … it made it feel more like home because of her. We also enjoyed the personal touches that Rebekah and her family added to the home such as a fully decorated Christmas tree in one of the living room spaces, home-made bread in the freezer (we tried the everything bread and it was delicious!), and there was even honey from their apiary/bees in the breakfast nook cabinets (we didn’t try it but maybe next time!). Not to mention all the other foods/drinks such as; a bottle of wine (red and white), apple juice, milk, eggs (local too!), several coffees and teas. All of these things made it truly a home away from home. The bedrooms were all very spacious and comfortable. Towels were easily located in each room and the two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs on main floor) were nice for a big family. We also admired all the updates/renovations done to the home while also trying to keep the old world feel to the Thomas Abell home. The furniture was all very comfy (couches and beds) and the decorations were really neat to look at and explore (such as, old cameras throughout the dining area, an old typewriter in the den/office room, the old fireplaces…just to name a few) The location of the home was also perfect for anyone visiting the Warren area. One day we walked over to the library (literally half a block away!) to explore and kill time. The house is also extremely close to downtown Warren where there is plenty to eat and again explore. Our family highly recommends this space/house to anyone traveling through the area … so much better than staying in a hotel! We hope to come back in the near future!

This is a great AirBNB! Lots of thoughtful touches such as milk and eggs in the refrigerator waiting on you. Could very comfortably host 4 individuals or even 6-8 if its family or couples. Beautiful house, well equipped for cooking and eating dinner, listening to music, etc. my two work colleagues were skeptical of staying at a AirBNB; not any longer! Great place even for business travel!

I must suggest Rebekah’s place to you. She was very hospitable and the place was very well taken care of. Always some stuff in the fridge for me and very very very private.

This historic home an easy walk to downtown was charming and spacious. A huge front porch and backyard were available and off street parking. Having access to the entire house really felt like a “home away from home”. Our hosts, Rebekah and Frank could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would return again and highly recommend this rental. It’s the whole package!
